The name YummyArty records the evolution and reinvention of Andrea Bailey's working life. At 19, she opened Gratitudes, a dessert catering business for private and corporate functions, as well as customer appreciation gifts.

After leaving home five years later, she became the baker and partner at Yasi’s Place, a popular counter culture restaurant in the west end of Toronto.

When that venture came to an end after 6 years, she returned to her first love - painting.
